Business as usual no more

It’s not business as usual. And for many of us, it never was. Through heartbreak, hearts are awakened. Whether you are a witness of, or experiencing first hand, the depths of the despair that our news feeds paint, there is an awakening. Communities are being awakened to the dismantling of the “powers” that be. I, myself, have been a participant before, drafting myself, through my work in politics and nonprofits, as a fighter and a defender of “good.” Now, I am called to a different path. One that sees there is no hope in saving systems designed by their very nature to oppress, divide and dismantle communities. We have seen, first hand over the course of many years, that they will not save us. No amount of “good” will save those systems and it begs the question — Why are we using our energy, our one life, to save these systems?

As with nature, everything has a death on this earth and now, many of us are witnessing this death. The death of an archetype — of the white man in his business suit, standing secure with his newspaper, his legal team, and his multiple bank accounts hoarding his wealth, making deals behind closed doors for people he doesn’t know because of the systems he’s built. We are witnessing the death of these systems and this way of existing. This existence has taken us so far out of alignment with who we are as a people, where we came from, our roots, our lineage, our ancestors, our home and our story.

“Our” has no divide. We are one. We are love. At our core, we are light. We came from light. This has been proven by science. The fact is, everything comes from light. The rest is a mystery of our own choosing. And I choose love. I choose light. I choose me. I choose you. I choose us. I understand the depth of my choices. From the clothes I wear, to the subscriptions I hold, to the work I do and the words I speak. They don’t stop and end with me. They impact millions of people and resources. This is why transparency is an act of love. Everything is an exchange, money, time, resources, and energy. We are meant to give and receive. There cannot be one without the other. It’s time to allow these perpetuating systems, operating out of alignment, without transparency and without love, to die. It’s time to rebuild in the name of community. What remains, what should be allowed and demanded by its people should be what is good for you, what is good for our communities, and what is good for our planet.

Choices are being made. Live’s are being changed. Hearts are being awakened. We’re not going back to business as usual. This is a revival of Mother Nature, of our divine feminine, of love, of light, of wealth and prosperity for all.
